Seattle Weekly Magazine said, “With a voice and lyrics to match the sweet strains of his guitar, Kevin could be Seattle’s version of Jackson Browne.”

Jones has performed solo, duo, and with the band for some of the finest players in the world. He has shared stages with John Hiatt, Rosanne Cash, Bruce Cockburn, Joan Baez, The Laura Love Band, Marc Cohn, Michael Tomlinson, Catie Curtis, and a variety of Northwest-based musicians.

Kevin Jones’ music is rhythmic and colorful, his lyrics touching and very accessible. His willingness to experiment with a variety of different guitars and odd tunings leave fans very musically nourished. He is always reaching for that invisible bass tone that makes people wonder sometimes where the rest of the band is hiding. His voice is powerful and gutsy, yet gracious and pure.

Enumclaw’s Almost Necessities and Sweet Necessities are providing the table decorations and a selection of choice items for guests’ taste of chocolate or design.

The ticket prices have been the same for seven years. Grants from 4Culture and support from the city of Enumclaw, Enumclaw Courier-Herald, Puget Sound Energy and Mutual of Enumclaw Insurance Group make that possible. All can see the next three performances in the series by purchasing tickets in advance at the Enumclaw Expo Center.

Remember to order desserts when purchasing Kevin Jones tickets at the Expo Center. Desserts will be available by pre-sale: pie is $5 and fudge $5. Café Panini’s Pie Goddess is creating the pies and local Sweet Necessities is concocting the fudge.

On May 9, the famous Buckaroosters will present their salute to Buck Owens.

The April 11 show starts at 7:30 p.m. For tickets and information call 360-825-3594 or visit www.cityofenumclaw.net/localevents.htm.
