Manestage Theatre’s weekend productions of Sleeping Beauty at the Sumner High School Performing Arts Center continue with showings tonight at 7 p.m., Saturday at 2 and 7 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m. General admission is $18, Student/Senior admission is $15 and Children 10 years old and younger get in for $10.

Sumner School District’s “Building STEAM!” STEM Fair takes place Saturday morning, from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., at Lakeridge Middle School. In addition to the science fair and club exhibitions, nationally recognized educator Rick Hartman will host a 45-minute comedic presentation demonstrating mathematical principles with toys. An art show and block play for children will run concurrently.

Looking for tax help? Sumner Pierce County Library will offer assistance from income tax experts from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.

For the lovers out there, Valentine’s Day will come a few days early in the form of the “A Taste of Romance” Sweetheart Wine Walk in Sumner. Walk the streets of historic downtown Sumner with a wine glass ready to be filled at participating shops. Tickets are $20 — $150 for the overnight package at Holiday Inn Express — and can be ordered from the Sumner Downtown Association’s website.
