Crazy 8s Math Club

Grades 3-5.

Crazy 8s is an after-school math club designed to get kids fired up about math. Every week Crazy 8ers build stuff, run and jump, make music, make a mess…all while bonding with new friends over math.

For teens in middle school, high school and home school to get involved with the library. Volunteer and give input on how to best serve teens at the library. It looks great on college and job applications!

Teen Tech Day!

– Monday, April 18, 3pm

Middle and high school ages.

Play multiplayer Minecraft or try out some of our fun techy gadgets, like Squishy Circuits, Snap Circuits and Sphero! We have Minecraft accounts to use, so you don’t need one!

Study Zone

– Thursdays, 5-7pm

Grades K-12.

Drop-in during scheduled Study Zone hours for free homework help from a volunteer tutor.

Antiques Roadshow

– Saturday, April 2, 1pm

Antique expert extraordinaire Bette Bell comes to the Enumclaw Library to discuss downsizing and handling an estate. Do you have hidden treasures among your things? Attendees may bring ONE object to be valued and discussed at the show-and-tell portion of the program!

AARP Tax Help

– Monday, April 4 and 11, 10am-7pm

Get free individualized tax preparation assistance provided by trained AARP Foundation volunteers. No age or income limits. Please bring picture I.D., documented proof of Social Security Number, and last year’s return as well as any current tax documents.

Join Andrea Carvalho in a free yoga class at the library. Yoga can reduce stress, build strength and flexibility. This class will be a foundations class, excellent for beginners or those new to yoga and an opportunity for experienced yoga practitioners to deepen their practice. Hope to see you there!

Reach Enumclaw Legal Clinic

– Thursday, April 14 and 28, 5:30pm

Reach Enumclaw is a free legal clinic open to all local residents on a first come first served basis. It will be held the second and fourth Thursday of the month from 5:30pm to 7:30pm.

Washington attorneys will meet with clients via the Internet for a half hour to consult on legal issues including: family law, landlord tenant, creditor debtor, contract disputes and others. Criminal case related matters may be reviewed if there is no current case pending. We also offer referrals to other agencies that may resolve client’s problems. For more information, 206.398.4319.

Quilling 101

– Saturday, April 16, 1pm

Join Emily Mallory, long time local crafter and businesswoman, for a fun introduction to the art of quilling. Learn how to make the basic quilling shapes that are the building blocks for quilled designs. You will learn how to arrange the basic shapes to create everything from animals to flowers. At the end of the class you will take home a finished product that you’ve created.

All supplies provided.
