Black Diamond police blotter | April 11 – 17

Rude neighbors, a crash at a gas station, and an assault.

April 11

– Officers were called to 3rd Avenue around 7:30 p.m. for a car crash injury. Police determined one car improperly overtook the another, resulting in the crash.

– Police were flagged down in the Ten Trails neighborhood around 9:30 p.m. to investigate a suspicious person. Officers were unable to locate the subject.

April 14

– A traffic stop on Lawson Street around 5:15 p.m. resulted in a DUI arrest.

April 15

– Officers were alerted to a one-vehicle crash at the Cenex Gas Station around 2 p.m. When police arrived, they found an elderly female who struck the metal pole next to the gas pumps. A friend came to pick her up.

– Police were dispatched to Dogwood Street around 6:30 p.m. to check on a man sleeping in his car; officers determined he was OK.

April 16

– Officers were called to 220th Place SE around 3 p.m. because the reporting party believed their neighbor was waving and looking at them in a way to provoke a confrontation. No crime was reported.

– Police were called again to 220th Place SE, this time around 7:45 p.m., to a anti-harassment order violation. The reporting party said their neighbor flipped them off as they drove by. They declined to pursue prosecution.

– Officers were dispatched to Enumclaw around 10:45 p.m. to assist on-scene with a possible shooting on Watson Street.

– Police responded to an assault report on SE 299th Street around 11 p.m. One individual was arrested and transported to the Enumclaw jail.

April 17

– Officers were called out to 216th Avenue SE to investigate a 911 hang-up. The call was accidental, and made from a smart watch.
