The City of Bonney Lake is accepting applications for a student representative to serve on the Arts Commission. We are looking for a high school student, preferably from the Sumner School District, who is interested in the arts and community culture and who wants to serve on this volunteer Commission.

The Arts Commission advises the Mayor and City Council on matters of the arts in the Bonney Lake Community; provides community leadership and assistance in advocating for, developing and promoting the arts in Bonney Lake; and improves the quality of life and enhancing the aesthetic environment of Bonney Lake through art.

The Commission has 7 to 9 volunteer members (including 2 students) who reflect various artistic disciplines such as music, visual arts, performance, digital, literary, etc. Student Commissioners serve 1-year terms. More information on the Arts Commission is available at www.citybonneylake.org/arts.
