Cascade Regional Blood Services has scheduled 13 mobile blood drives in Bonney Lake and Sumner in August, increasing its monthly visibility through summer events such as Get Fit Bonney Lake, Bonney Lake Days and the Classy Chassis Car Show.
Bonney Lake
Cascade’s mobile blood unit will be parked at Columbia Bank in Bonney Lake every Friday of August from 1 to 6 p.m. On Aug. 30, the blood drive will run from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. to accommodate Labor Day weekend. Its presence is sponsored by the Bonney Lake Lions Club.
Columbia Bank is located at 19925 state Route 410.
The unit will be at the Get Fit Bonney Lake Health Fair from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Aug. 10. The fair will take place at the Rainier Professional Plaza parking lot, located at 18209 state Route 410.
The unit will be at Bonney Lake Days in Allan Yorke Park on Aug. 16 from 4 to 8 p.m. and Aug. 17 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Sumner
The blood unit will be parked outside Golden State Foods on Aug. 7 from 12:30 to 4 p.m. Golden State Foods is located at 1409 Puyallup St.
The unit will be parked outside Dillanos Coffee Roasters on Aug. 8 from 12 to 4 p.m. Dillanos is located at 1607 45th St. E.
On Aug. 13, the unit will park outside the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints from 3 to 8:30 p.m. The church is located at 512 Valley Ave.
On Aug. 18, the unit will park in the vicinity of the Classy Chassis Car Show in downtown Sumner.
