The Pierce County Council will hold upcoming meetings in Eatonville, Buckley and Tacoma as part of its effort to make government more accessible to more people.
The Council, which normally meets Tuesdays in the County-City Building in downtown Tacoma, holds at least one meeting per year in each of the seven council districts, as required by the Pierce County Charter.
The seven-member body approved the following dates, times and locations at their Sept. 8 meeting:
- Sept. 29 at 6:30 p.m. in the Eatonville Community Center, 305 Center Street West, Eatonville, WA. This meeting will be hosted by District 3 Councilmember Jim McCune.
- Oct. 5 at 5 p.m. in the Tacoma Campus of The Evergreen State College, 1210 6th Avenue, Tacoma, WA. This meeting will be hosted by District 4 CouncilmemberConnie Ladenburg.
- Oct. 20 at 5 p.m. in the Buckley Multi-Purpose Center, 811 Main Street, Buckley, WA. This meeting will be hosted by District 1 Councilmember Dan Roach.
