COUNTERFEIT: On June 8, an officer was called to a fast food restaurant to a report on counterfeit bills. The male who got the bills reported the call. He said the female worker at the restaurant gave him two counterfeit five dollar bills as change. He said when he got the bills he thought they looked a little different, but didn’t think anything of it. The following day, he noticed the print on the bills was bad quality and that the serial numbers matched. The bills were taken to a detective for inspection, who then placed them into police custody. The female who handed out the bills had no knowledge that they were fake.
