Police from the Puget Sound area need help to identify two suspects responsible for a series of takeover robberies targeting auto parts stores and restaurants. Since April of 2008, eleven similar armed robberies have occurred in Kitsap, Pierce, Thurston, King and Mason counties. The most recent robbery occurred on April 13. At 8:59 p.m., two unidentified suspects robbed an Auto Zone store on Meridian Avenue East in Edgewood. The suspects displayed firearms and demanded cash from the registers and the safe. The suspects tied up the employees, then stole cash and multiple items from the store before fleeing. Both suspects were described as heavy set black males in their 20s. Receive up to $1,000 dollars for information leading to the arrest and charges filed for the person in this case. Tipsters will remain anonymous.
