Dispute over vehicle | Enumclaw Police

An officer responded the morning of July 8 to the vicinity of Dickson Avenue and Blake Street to deal with a dispute over a vehicle.

DISTURBANCE: An officer responded the morning of July 8 to the vicinity of Dickson Avenue and Blake Street to deal with a dispute over a vehicle. At odds were the owners and the man attempting to repossess the automobile. Police determined that all the paperwork was in order to allow for the repossession. Personal items were allowed to be taken from the vehicle.

MOVE ALONG: A minute before midnight July 7, police took a report of a group of juveniles gathered in a Watson Street parking lot. When contacted, they said they were attempting to get a cat from a tree. They were instructed to move along.

ARREST WARRANT: An officer noticed a subject hanging around vehicles parked in front of the police station the morning of July 7. The man was contacted and found to be wanted on a local warrant. He was arrested and booked.

MOWER MISSING: An Elmont Avenue resident had a lawnmower in his front yard, marked for sale.  Instead, someone took it. The value of the missing item was estimated at $60.

ABANDONED AUTO: An officer responded July 7 to a Sun Mountain Drive address after hearing of a vehicle that had possibly been abandoned. The red car at two flat tires and license tabs that expired in 2013. It appeared the registered owner no longer lived in the area so the vehicle was impounded.

ASSAULT: An assault victim told police the afternoon of July 7 someone hit him in the face and took his glasses. The victim did not want to press charges, but wanted his glasses returned.
