The Nov. 4 General Election deadline is rapidly approaching. Ballots must be postmarked by Nov. 4 or returned to a drop box by 8 p.m. Nov. 4. To date, about 266,000 King County voters have returned ballots.

Don’t wait until the last minute to vote. Voting now saves time, allows more efficient processing of ballots, and gives more time for voters to resolve signature problems.

How to return your ballot

·        By U.S. mail. If mailing a ballot, be sure it will be postmarked in time.

·        To a drop box. Scheduled ballot drop-off vans will be in 12 locations Saturday, Nov. 1 and Monday, Nov. 3 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., as well as Tuesday, Nov. 4 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Ten drop boxes are open 24 hours/day until 8 p.m. Nov. 4.

·        At an accessible voting center. Locations and hours are available online.
