Don’t forget the Daffodil Parade this Saturday

The parade begins at 10:15 a.m. in Tacoma, but the Sumner leg begins at 2:30 p.m.

In case you forgot, the 2012 Daffodil Festival Parade is happening this Saturday, April 14. The parade lasts nearly seven hours and spans the cities of Tacoma, Puyallup, Sumner and Orting.

The parade begins at 10:15 a.m. in Tacoma, but the Sumner leg begins at 2:30 p.m.

The centerpiece of the parade will be the float containing 24 high school girls selected to be members of the Daffodil Royal Court. Bonney Lake and Sumner’s princesses were Angela Crone and Carly Lange, respectively. Sarah Karamoko of Henry Foss High School is the 2012 Daffodil Queen.

The theme this year is “Don’t Stop Believing.”
