DUI driver crashes into telephone pole near Enumclaw | Washington State Patrol

On Feb. 1, the driver of a gray pickup failed to stop at the intersection of Southeast 416th and state Route 164, just outside the Enumclaw city limits.

BEHIND THE BUS: Two vehicles were struck Feb. 2 while stopped for a bus at SR 164 and Southeast 400th Street.  The causing vehicle, which was traveling too fast for conditions, struck one of the vehicles, causing that vehicle to strike the vehicle directly behind the school bus.

DRUNK, CRASHED: On Feb. 1, the driver of a gray pickup failed to stop at the intersection of Southeast 416th and state Route 164, just outside the Enumclaw city limits. The vehicle went across SR 164 and struck a telephone pole, a parked automobile and a high-pressure gas line. A few homes in the area were evacuated until the gas could be turned off. The female driver was arrested for driving under the influence.

FANS ARRESTED: In the Enumclaw/Auburn area, WSP troopers arrested four subjects Feb. 1 for driving under the influence during a special Super Bowl Emphasis Patrol.

PLENTY OF TROUBLE: On Jan. 24, a WSP trooper stopped a female from Belfair, Wash., for traveling 70 in a 55 mph zone on SR 410 near Mud Mountain Dam. The woman was cited for speeding, having no insurance and driving on a suspended license.  She also had three outstanding warrants.
