King County Road crews mobilized this morning to begin making emergency repairs to a hillside that has caused road shoulder and guardrail damage along SE Auburn-Black Diamond Rd. The slide, which occurred earlier this week during heavy rains, is located on SE Auburn-Black Diamond Rd between 152nd Ave. SE. and 161st Ave. SE.

King County Road crews mobilized this morning to begin making emergency repairs to a hillside that has caused road shoulder and guardrail damage along SE Auburn-Black Diamond Rd. The slide, which occurred earlier this week during heavy rains, is located on SE Auburn-Black Diamond Rd between 152nd Ave. SE. and 161st Ave. SE.

Repairs will involve stabilizing the hillside and repairing the damaged shoulder and guardrail area. The work, expected to take up to three weeks, will require the section of SE Auburn-Black Diamond Rd. to be closed daily. During these weekday closures, use Lake Holmes Rd and Green Valley Rd as detours.
