Enumclaw native honored as teacher of the year in Arizona

Enumclaw native Joel Anderson recently received the Arizona Middle Level Association “teacher of the year” award from Cocopah Middle School in Scottsdale, Ariz.

Enumclaw native Joel Anderson recently received the Arizona Middle Level Association “teacher of the year” award from Cocopah Middle School in Scottsdale, Ariz.

The AMLA is a statewide service organization committed to advancing and improving the professional knowledge of middle-level educators.

Anderson is a 2004 graduate of Enumclaw High School and graduated from Arizona State University in Tempe with a degree in special education.
