FRAUD DISCOVERED

• A citizen arrived at the police station lobby the morning of March 31, displaying fraudulent money orders that had been received in the mail. It was determined to be a scam and the items were taken to the post office.

DOMESTIC VIOLENCE

• A man notified police at about 5:40 p.m. March 31, telling of an altercation with his girlfriend. An officer responded and arrested the girlfriend for fourth-degree assault/domestic violence.

NO BURGLARY

• An officer responded about 6:15 a.m. March 30 to a report of a commercial burglary at a Griffin Avenue address. It was discovered a rock had been thrown through a window, but nothing was found missing.

WARNING GIVEN

• Staff at a Roosevelt Avenue business notified police the afternoon of March 30 of a suspicious man behind the building. He had earlier been found shoplifting, but the items were recovered. Employees asked that he be removed from the property. Police contacted the man and issued a “trespass warning.”

TRAFFIC COMPLAINT

• A citizen called police shortly before 5 p.m. March 30, reporting that a man driving a blue car had followed him from “out in the country” to his workplace. There had been some waving and finger pointing, and the man appeared to be waiting for the caller in the parking lot. An officer responded, contacted both parties and discussed driving actions and proper responses.

BURGLARY

• Officers responded the morning of March 29 to a burglary that occured at a Roosevelt Avenue business. The building had broken windows and the property loss was estimated at $100. There were no witnesses or suspects.

THREATS MADE

• An officer contacted the victim of threatening cellphone calls and text messages. While they were speaking, the victim received a call from one of the suspects. The officer answered and advised the caller to halt the activity. The victim was told to notify police if the calls continued and, possibly, to change her phone number.

TROUBLE AT SCHOOL

• Police arrived about 8 a.m. March 26 at Enumclaw High School after hearing of a possible fight. One male juvenile was arrested for disorderly conduct, taken to the station and later released to a parent.

ACCIDENT

• An officer responded at about 9:50 p.m. March 26 to a Harding Street location for a non-injury, one-car, rollover accident. The driver was cited for negligent driving and malicious mischief and his vehicle was impounded.
