DOMESTIC VIOLENCE: A woman arrived at the police station lobby at 2:45 a.m. March 16 to report a case of domestic violence. She had been treated at Enumclaw Regional Hospital prior to contacting police. A female suspect had returned to her home in Bonney Lake so authorities there were notified. Bonney Lake police found the suspect and delivered her to Enumclaw. Both parties were interviewed, the suspect was released and the case was referred to detectives for further review.

AGENCY ASSIST: Enumclaw police responded at 5 p.m. March 16 to the area of state Route 410 and 244th Avenue Southeast, called to assist medics and Washington State Patrol staff with an accident involving a car and bicycle. The incident was turned over to the State Patrol.

PATIENT ASSIST: An officer was called to Enumclaw Regional Hospital at 12:30 a.m. March 15 to assist with an intoxicated patient who had been delivered to the hospital following a fight. The officer stood by until the patient complied with hospital staff. Approximately one hour later, police were asked to return by hospital staff who felt threatened by the patient. The man calmed down and police left the hospital.

EXTRA PATROL: Police were asked March 15 to provide extra patrol in the area of the trail near Battersby Avenue. A caller expressed concern that juveniles were hanging out in the area, possibly starting small fires and spray-painting nearby buildings.

ONE HURT: Police received a report at 11:30 p.m. March 14 regarding a fight at a Railroad Street address. One person had fled the scene and another was in need of medical treatment. Police determined no crime had been committed, as it was a case of mutual combat. One of the combatants was evaluated by medics and transported to Enumclaw Regional Hospital.

MARIJUANA: A traffic stop at 8 p.m. March 14 at the intersection of Wells Street and Griffin Avenue resulted in a female being arrested for possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was taken to the station for booking and her vehicle was impounded.

FOUR WARRANTS: A man repeatedly called the King County Sheriff’s Office during the early-morning hours of March 13 and deputies eventually determined, through cell phone tracking, the man was in Enumclaw near a city church. Police found the man on Farrelly Street, obstructing traffic. He was taken into custody on three outstanding warrants issued by Enumclaw Municipal Court and one warrant issued in Buckley.

STOLEN PLATE: A citizen arrived at the police station March 13 with a license plate that had been found. An investigation revealed the plate had been stolen in Tacoma.

SHOPLIFTING: Police responded at 4 p.m. March 12 to a Roosevelt Avenue business after learning two subjects had been detained for shoplifting. The two were taken to the police station for booking, told not to return to the business and leased.

IMPOUND: Police called for a vehicle to be impounded March 12 from the area of Cascade Avenue and Clovercrest Street because it had been parked on a city street with expired tabs for more than 45 days. An hour later, the owner called, asking why his vehicle had been taken.

TRESPASSING: Police were called the evening of March 12 by a Watson Street resident who reported someone was pounding on her door. She believed the offender to be her ex-boyfriend. Police contacted the man, who agreed to leave the area; he was ordered not to return.

ACCIDENT: After hearing from the Washignton State Patrol at 11 p.m. March 11, Enumclaw police responded to the vicinity of state Route 410 and 284th Avenue Southeast where a vehicle had been driven into a ditch. The driver was not hurt, but was taken into custody and booked for driving while intoxicated.

THEFT: Police were told the morning of March 11 items had been stolen the night before from two vehicles parked at an Initial Place address. A report was taken and the owner agreed to provide a list of missing items.

WARRANT ARREST: Local police arrested a suspect at 10 p.m. March 11 in the vicinity of Griffin Avenue and 244th Avenue Southeast. The subject was arrested on a warrant issued in Redmond, Wash. The suspect was later transported to Renton and handed over to Redmond authorities.
