The Enumclaw School District is closed today due to power outages.

Power remains out due to high winds overnight.

As of 6 a.m., Puget Sound Energy reported on its website that approximately 60,000 customers remained without power.

PSE estimates the restoration of power to be back to areas in South King County by Thursday.

However, some may not be back until Friday.

There are still areas with down power lines and trees.

Around 7:45 a.m., Washington State Patrol Public Information Officer Trooper Chris Webb tweeted that state Route 169 in Enumclaw at 416th Street is closed.

There was no estimated time of reopening at the time of the tweet.
