Going for a spin with dad this weekend? Heading to one of many graduation ceremonies taking place? You’ll want to prepare for a closure that could slow you down. The westbound state Route 18 ramp to southbound Interstate 5 will be closed from 10 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday. Contractor crews will repair two joints on SR 18 that were part of the I-5/SR 18 interchange Triangle Improvements made in 2012. The joints are under warranty and will be repaired at no extra cost to the state.

Heaviest travel times are typically mid-afternoon but you should expect extra traffic throughout the weekend. Before you hit the road, plan your trip with one of our many traffic tools.

Where do my toll dollars go?
