Felony burglary | Enumclaw Police

Two subject were seen the morning of Sept. 13 walking from a vacant residence on Myrtine Street. The reporting party had discovered the side door to the garage had been kicked in.

HOME IN QUESTION: While an officer was attempting to locate a suspect in a trespassing incident, a vacant house on Myrtine Street was checked due to possibly being associated with the suspect. The officer later contacted a management company that had been hired by a bank to care for the property.

MINOR ARRESTED: Police responded the evening of Sept. 15 to a Roosevelt Avenue business after learning of a shoplifting incident. The suspect was located, arrested for theft and being a minor in possession of alcohol and taken to the police station for booking.

CRIMINAL TRESPASS: A concerned citizen called police at 5:17 a.m. Sept. 15, reporting there were subjects with flashlights and backpacks at a Porter Street location. A check of the area turned up four suspects who were arrested for criminal trespass.

PROBLEM PATIENT: A patient who had been discharged from St. Elizabeth Hospital the morning of Sept. 14 refused to leave and began causing a scene in the emergency room. An officer responded and stood by while a friend arrived to pick up the discharged patient.

SHOPLIFTING: A shoplifting incident at a Monroe Avenue business was reported the evening of Sept 14. Taken was $44 worth of diapers. The suspect, last seen in a Dodge Durango, could not be located.

DISTURBANCE: Police responded at 10 p.m. Sept. 14 to a Garfield Street address after hearing of a man who had been drinking and was out of control. The issue was settled upon police contact; the reporting party’s wife was to pick him up and the intoxicated man was staying with the homeowner.

FELONY BURGLARY: Two subject were seen the morning of Sept. 13 walking from a vacant residence on Myrtine Street. The reporting party had discovered the side door to the garage had been kicked in. Officers responded and contacted both suspects. One was taken into custody and booked into jail for felony investigation of burglary; the other was taken into custody due to Bonney Lake arrest warrants and was turned over to Bonney Lake authorities.

HELP WITH TRAFFIC: An officer responded to the intersection of Kibler Avenue and Harding Street the morning of Sept. 11 to provide traffic control as children arrived at Kibler Elementary. A stop sign was down, creating a traffic hazard.

ANGRY WITH BROTHER: Police received a 911 hangup call the afternoon of Sept. 11. Upon responding, they determined the call was made by a young child who was angry at his brother.

MISCHIEF: Police were informed at 2:13 a.m. Sept. 11 a building on Marshall Avenue had been tagged with graffiti.

TREE DOWN: An officer on patrol at 3:37 a.m. Sept. 11 discovered a tree down near the intersection of Watson Street and Bondgard Avenue. Local fire department personnel responded with a chain saw to cut up the tree and remove it from the road.

TWO CHARGES: A report of a domestic disturbance had police responding the afternoon of Sept. 9 to a parking lot at St Elizabeth Hospital. It was determined to be verbal only and police departed the scene. The following day, it was determined the female involved had given false information to the officer and that she was in the care of the hospital at the time. It also was learned she was wanted on arrest warrants issued by Sumner and Eatonville. She was to be charged with making false statements and obstruction.

THREATS MADE: Police received a report at 11 p.m. Sept 8 of a man harassing and threatening several people. Officers responded to a Griffin Avenue address and took the man into custody; he was booked into jail on harassment charges. Two and one-half hours later, a report was issued regarding a man yelling and making threats at a Roosevelt Avenue location. The suspect departed the business when police were called; he was located, taken into custody and booked into jail for harassment and driving under the influence.

HIGH SCHOOL FIGHT: At 11 a.m. Sept. 8, police were told of a fight that occurred at a football game the previous Friday night. Police determined the incident had been reported to school officials who advised they would handle the situation. The reporting party was examining options to determine her course of action, if any.
