VEHICLE PROWL: Items were reported stolen the morning of April 20 from a vehicle parked at an Elmont Avenue address. There was no vehicle damage; nor were there any witnesses or immediate suspects.

SUSPICIOUS SMOKING: Police contacted people who were reportedly smoking “something in foil” April 19 in the St. Elizabeth Hospital parking lot. The individuals declined a police request to search their vehicle and, instead, agreed to move along.

FIREWORKS: A fireworks complaint was lodged shortly before noon April 19, sending police to a Porter Street location. The person responsible said he thought he was outside the city limits; he wasn’t, so he agreed to stop.
