Fireworks sales and use ends | State Fire Marshal

State Fire Marshal Charles M. Duffy announced today that the sales period for consumer fireworks concludes July 5, 2013 at 9:00 pm and the discharge period concludes July 5, 2013 at 11:00 pm. The next legal period for sales and discharge will not occur until December of this year.
Fireworks sales begin at noon on December 27, 2013 and end at 11:00 pm on December 31, 2013. Discharging of fireworks is then legal from 6:00 pm on December 31, 2013 until 1:00 am on January 1, 2014.
Duffy wants to remind everyone that, “Personal fireworks require personal responsibility.” Be safe.
