South County Cats received a grant from the ASPCA, the nation’s oldest animal welfare organization, for its Companion Cat Spay/Neuter Voucher Program. This grant will provide financial support for approximately 240 spay/neuter operations. Each year South County Cats facilitates hundreds of spay/neuters through this program to proactively reduce the uncontrolled breeding of cats the community.The program offers vouchers for free cat or kitten spay/neuter for low-income, disabled, and senior citizens in south King County. Eight veterinarians and two spay/neuter clinics participate in this program.
