Police responded just before 5 a.m. Feb. 3 to assist at a Warner Avenue address where a 12x12 outdoor structure was on fire. Inside were portable toilets.

HELP WITH FIRE: Police responded just before 5 a.m. Feb. 3 to assist at a Warner Avenue address where a 12×12 outdoor structure was on fire. Inside were portable toilets.

RELATED TO FIRE: A few minutes before 6 a.m. Feb. 3, police were alerted to a person hitting signs with a bat. The call resulted in people being detained for investigation of arson (see item above).

ODD BEHAVIOR: An employee of a Cole Street bank called police the afternoon of Feb. 3, reporting a man was in the bushes in front of the building; problem was, his pants were down. Officers did not locate a suspect.

STOLEN, RECOVERED: Police were advised Feb. 3 that a city towing company had impounded a boat trailer from a Rainier Avenue address. Further investigation revealed the trailer had been stolen from a Tacoma address; a message was left for the registered owner.
