How Sumner residents can treecycle | City of Sumner

Trees can be recycled curbside if they fit, or are made to fit, in your normal yard waste container with the lid closed. If you do not have yard waste service, DM Disposal will accept your tree on your regular scheduled garbage day for disposal.

All trees must be cut into 4-foot lengths and each section will be charged an extra unit fee. Another option available is to take trees to Pierce County Transfer Stations, where they can be recycled for free.

Remember to remove all lights, ornaments and tinsel.  Flocked trees are not recyclable.
