Monday, February 1

Metropolitan King County Council – 1:30 p.m.

Councilmembers are scheduled to discuss and possibly act on:

  • A motion approving a report related to King County’s financial support of the King County fair operated and managed by the city of Enumclaw in accordance with the 2015/2016 Biennial Budget Ordinance (Motion 2015-0523).
  • Motions confirming the appointment of members to the King County Flood Control District Advisory Committee (Motions 2016-0022, 0023, 0024, 0026, 0027, 0028. 0029 and 2016-0040).

 

Tuesday, February 2

Transportation, Economy and Environment Committee – 9:30 a.m.

Committee members are scheduled to discuss and possibly recommend to the full council:

  • A motion approving the Final Report on Ferry Expansion Options for Marine Division (Motion 2015-0517).
  • A motion approving a report assessing potential traffic impacts of a new bus stop on Montlake Boulevard NE and NE Pacific Place (Motion 2016-0089).
  • A motion relating to the establishment of a work plan for improving the transfer environment at locations impacted by the University Link bus integration (Motion 2016-0092).
  • A motion relating to public transportation, approving a work plan for assessing ridership impacts and customer response to the University Link bus integration (Motion 2016-0093).
  • An ordinance approving a joint project agreement with the city of Seattle for the ship canal water quality project and authorizing the King County executive to sign and fulfill the county’s obligations in the agreement (Ordinance 2016-0016).

  • An ordinance adopting updates to the Strategic Plan for Public Transportation 2011-2021 and King County Metro Service Guidelines (Ordinance 2016-0005).

Regional Water Quality Committee – 3:00 p.m.

Committee members are scheduled to discuss and possibly recommend to the full council:

  • An ordinance amending the grant award process for the WaterWorks grant program (Ordinance 2016-0091).
