An Auburn nursing assistant’s license has been immediately suspended after he was criminally charged with mistreating a vulnerable adult.
Alfredo G. Tia (NAR.NA.00178244) allegedly failed to provide safe and adequate care to a resident of an adult family home. Charges state that the resident developed pressure ulcers due to Tia’s lack of care. Tia has been charged in King County Superior Court with second-degree criminal mistreatment.
He cannot practice in Washington until the charges are resolved. Tia has 20 days to respond to the charges and ask for a hearing.
