King County Sheriff’s deputies investigate lethal shooting of alleged burglar near Enumclaw | Update

Police and emergency aid units are on the way to a shooting. The police scanner is reporting a 50-year-old white man possibly shot in the head.

Police and emergency aid units responded to a reported shooting near Enumclaw this afternnoon, April 15. The police scanner reported a 50-year-old white man was shot in the head and emergency workers were administering CPR.

Reported address is 4800 block 0f 323th Avenue South.

King County Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman Sgt. Cindi West reported it may be a homeowner who shot the alleged burglar.

The suspect who was shot is reported to have died.

The other suspect fled in a 2002 gray Ford Explorer, license plate 249ZCL, according to tweets from West. The vehicle is reported to be owned by the homeowner’s daughter.

The scanner reported the passenger window of the Explorer may have been shot out.
