Largest EHS orchestra in school history to accompany drama production of ‘State Fair’

The Enumclaw High School drama department presents “State Fair” the next two weekends.

The classic production, with music by Richard Rodgers and lyrics by Oscar Hammerstein – based on the book by Tom Briggs and Louis Mattioli – features more than 90 students and the largest orchestra in EHS history.

“State Fair” is the musical story of a farming family visiting the 1946 Iowa Fair.

The curtain rises at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday, May 6-7 and again May 12-14; there also will be a 2 p.m. matinee on Sunday, May 8.

Admission is $10, with students 18 and younger admitted free.
