Malicous Mischief at Enumclaw Kibler Elementary School | Police Blotter

SCHOOL TARGETED: Police were told July 2 of malicious mischief the prior weekend at Kibler Elementary School. Graffiti was found, along with damage to an outdoor outlet. There were no suspects.

SCHOOL TARGETED: Police were told July 2 of malicious mischief the prior weekend at Kibler Elementary School. Graffiti was found, along with damage to an outdoor outlet. There were no suspects.

HIT AND RUN: A report was filed the afternoon of July 2 regarding a hit-and-run incident occurring during the past 24 hours. A Lowell Avenue resident reported damage to the front, driver-side fender and bumper of a vehicle.

CAR VS. POLE: Police responded the afternoon of July 2 to a one-car, noninjury accident. A vehicle hit a power pole on Griffin Avenue. Puget Sound Energy responded to deal with the pole and the vehicle was privately impounded.

TWO ASSAULTED: A complainant told police July 1 that a suspect assaulted both her and her brother at a Lafromboise Street residence. An officer responded and arrested a subject on assault charges. The report came at 10:19 p.m. July 1.

TENANT DISPUTE: A citizen requested police assistance June 30 regarding issues with a landlord who was attempting to change locks. An officer responded and settled the issue. The Scandia Avenue landlord was to leave the locks as they were and go through proper channels to begin eviction proceedings.

TEXT TROUBLES: Police were told June 30 of illegal activity and inappropriate texting. An officer provided information to all the involved parties about the consequences of such activity. No further action was taken.

VEHICLE STOLEN: An employee arrived for work the morning of June 30 and parked on Cole Street. When she looked for her car at noon, it was missing. It was later located in the parking lot of the Enumclaw library. All appeared OK and the owner took her vehicle home.

PROWLERS NABBED: Police took a report shortly after 2 a.m. June 29 of two males prowling a vehicle in the QFC parking lot. The reporting party detained the two until officers arrived. The pair were booked for vehicle prowl and possession of drug paraphernalia.

SPARKLER BOMB: An officer on patrol at 11:30 p.m. June 29 observed a possible sparkler bomb in the vicinity of Kibler Avenue and Division Street. The officer contacted two subjects who denied having anything to do with the matter.
