The following is a news update issued by the state Department of Transportation.

The new signal light at state Route 410 and Watson Street in Enumclaw was not activated today, Thursday, as originally planned. The signal is now scheduled to become active by 5 a.m., Friday, Jan. 9.

Drivers should expect traffic to be flagged through the intersection from 8 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 8, to 5 a.m. Friday, Jan. 9, for this work.
