“King County Fire District #28 is very fortunate to have so many qualified individuals willing to serve their community,” King County Councilman Reagan Dunn said. “I appreciate all those who took the time and stepped forward to serve their community.”

The advisory panel was comprised of state Representative Christopher Hurst, Enumclaw Mayor Liz Reynolds, Fire commissioners Dave Hannity, Angela Stubblefield and IAFF Local 3931 President John Bloomer.

After reviewing the six applicants’ written applications and interviewing the candidates present at the meeting, the panel came to a unanimous decision.

“I appreciate the hard work that the members of the advisory panel put forward to select one of these outstanding candidates,” Dunn said after the meeting.

The advisory panel recommendation now goes to the King County Council, which is expected to review and act on the advisory panel’s recommendation at their December 9 meeting
