The bartender told police Trimm seemed in good spirits when he left the establishment.

Additionally, police attempting to determine or rule out premeditated suicide look for signs of finality in the deceased’s life, such as using final days to put affairs in order or leaving behind a note with goodbyes or instructions.

In contrast, Trimm was preparing for the future. He had been promoted at work, bought a truck, and was planning a trip with friends, his father told police.
