• Pierce County Library System will be closed Monday, Dec. 24, and Tuesday, Dec. 25, to observe Christmas.

Also, the Library System will be closed Tuesday, Jan. 1, to observe New Year’s Day. All Pierce County Libraries will at 6 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 31, on New Year’s Eve.

While the Library is closed, people may continue to access free services from the online library at www.piercecountylibrary.org, which offers downloadable audiobooks and e-books, downloadable songs and e-sources with subscription magazines such as Consumer Reports, Morningstar Investment Research Center, car repair manuals and more.
