DRUGS

• Following a traffic stop shortly before 7 a.m. Dec. 16, a male driver was taken in custody on drug charges. His vehicle was impounded.

HARASSMENT

• An attorney contacted police the morning of Dec. 16, stating he represents a client in a civil lawsuit against a former boyfriend. The boyfriend had allegedly been stalking and harassing the woman, who was advised by the attorney to file a police report. The ex-boyfriend was said to be prone to violence, with a long criminal record.

ASSAULT

• Three juveniles were detained at 2:20 p.m. Dec. 16 at a Semanski Street address after assaulting another student.

MALICIOUS

• Police received several calls Dec. 16 concerning holiday lights that had been pulled from their strands and smashed, either on the ground or against a vehicle.

VEHICLE PROWL

• An officer responded at 1:56 a.m. Dec. 15 to a report of four people attempting to gain entry into a parked car. They fled and were not found.

RING FOUND

• A man’s wedding ring was found at 11:45 a.m. Dec. 15 on a Cole Street sidewalk. It is being held by police for safekeeping.

VEHICLE THEFT

• A vehicle was reported stolen the afternoon of Dec. 15while parked at Expressions at Enumclaw on Cole Street.

THEFT FROM VEHICLE

• A woman told police her purse and its contents, along with a vehicle registration, was stolen from her car while it was parked at 5 p.m. Dec. 15 in front of a Lafromboise Street residence.

SEVERAL CHARGES

• A traffic stop at 1:22 a.m. Dec. 13 resulted in the driver arrested for driving under the influence, driving with a suspended license and resisting arrest. His vehicle was impounded.

SUSPICIOUS

• Police received a 911 “hangup” call the morning of Dec. 13. Checking back, they were told the call was the result of a misdial. Police checked the address where the call had originated and discovered it had been the location of several recent domestic violence reports. Police went to the home where a woman claimed everything was fine.

DOMESTIC VIOLENCE

• Police were told the afternoon of Dec. 13 of sounds of fighting were coming from a Watson Street address. Officers responded and took one person into custody for domestic violence assault, violating a court order and malicious mischief.

TWO CHARGED

• A traffic stop at 11:51 p.m. Dec. 13 the intersection of Battersby Avenue and Jensen Street wound up with a man charged with possession of burglary tools and for driving with a suspended license; he also was held on a Sumner arrest warrant.
