Enumclaw

MALICIOUS MISCHIEF

• Police responded the morning of Nov. 3 to a Warner Avenue apartment complex where a rock had been thrown through the window of a storage shed. The damage was estimated at $250.

UNWANTED PERSON

• A resident of Pine Cone Avenue called her security company the evening of Nov. 3, asking that police be advised of an unwanted person in her home. The suspect, who was the ex-boyfriend of the resident’s caregiver, was gone when authorities arrived. The occupants were told to call 911 if he returned.

ELK CONCERN

• An anonymous caller told police Nov. 3 that a large herd of elk had attracted a group of potential hunters to the vicinity of 284th Avenue Southeast and Southeast 456th Street. The caller saw no hunting activity, but was concerned for the welfare of the herd and also noted the crowd was creating a traffic hazard. An officer was delayed by another call and, by the time he arrived, the crowd had dispersed.

ASSAULT

• Police learned Nov. 2 of an assault that occurred two nights earlier at a 284th Avenue Southeast location. The victim declined to press charges but wanted the incident documented.

Buckley

DRUG OVERDOSE

• One of Buckley’s officers was dispatched to a Battersby Avenue residence in Enumclaw at 2:30 a.m. Saturday, where he found a suicidal 21-year-old female subject from Black Diamond being treated for a possible drug overdose. The woman complied with treatment. Enumclaw police, who had been occupied with another call, arrived and took over the scene.

TWO-CAR WRECK

• Friday evening, officers arrived at the scene of a two-car, non-injury collision in the intersection of Mundy Loss Road and 112th Street East. No one required medical attention but officers were summoned due to a juvenile being involved. Both vehicles were rendered inoperable and were towed.

COLLISION

• A Buckley officer came across a collision shortly after midnight Thursday at milepost 18 on state Route 165. As there were no Washington State Patrol units available, the Buckley officer photographed the scene and had both drivers checked for injuries and had them complete the state collision report. Both drivers were released from the scene, both cars were towed and the road was opened.

TRAVELING SALESMAN

• Officers were dispatched to the D Street area the evening of Nov. 3, where there was a report of a suspicious person attempting to sell products. The individual did not possess a Buckley business license so he moved on.
