THEFT

• A Rainier Avenue resident told police Dec. 30 someone entered his vehicles and took several items.

BURGLARY ATTEMPT

• Police were told the morning of Dec. 30 someone had attempted to enter a shop building on Rainier Avenue. A door lock was broken.

PROWLING

• A Semanski Street resident called police the morning of Dec. 30, asking for addition patrol due to ongoing problems with vehicle prowling. His vehicle had been entered again the previous evening. The victime not a belief the suspect may have a key to the vehicle.

CYCLE STOPPED

• An officer attempted to stop a recklessly-driven motorcycle just after 11 a.m. Dec. 29. The motorcycle was located and police issued a warning to the driver, who indicated he had been involved in a road rage incident on Southeast 400th Street.

REPEATED PROWLING

• A Semanski Street resident asked for extra police patrol in the area due to ongoing trouble with prowlers. It was noted prowlers had been interrupted the night before and that was the third such incident.

BURGLARY

• A Chinook Avenue resident told police Dec. 29 a garage had been broken into the previous evening. A broken lock was replaced by a maintenance person and the victim was compiling a list of missing items. There were no suspects.

DISTURBANCE

• A repossession agent called police at 10 p.m. Dec. 29, reporting he was having a problem with a person at a Florence Street address. The person was not the registered owner of the vehicle due for repossession. An officer contacted all parties and discovered the repossession agent was the subject of an arrest warrant issued out of Kent. The agent was placed in custody and his vehicle was released to his company supervisor.

WANTED PERSON

• Officers attempted to serve an arrest warrant Dec. 28 on a man who failed to show for a court hearing; the original charge was for second-degree rape. Police found the man no longer living at the address on file and were provided no forwarding information.

CITIZEN ASSIST

• Police responded the afternoon of Dec. 28 to a Chinook Avenue parking lot, where a child had locked itself and keys inside a car. Officers were able to correct the situation.

ASSAULT

• An officer responded Dec. 28 to Loraine Street address after hearing of an assault. The resident said her boyfriend, who had left the scene, had assaulted her. Police determined there was cause for an arrest.

WRONG PLATES

• A traffic stop at 9:51 p.m. Dec. 28 revealed incorrect license plates on the vehicle. The vehicle was impounded and the plates were confiscated. A subject who arrived on the scene to pick up the driver was found to be driving with a suspended license and was arrested.

STOLEN VEHICLE

• Police were asked by Buckley authorities to check an Enumclaw address for a stolen vehicle. The vehicle was not at the given address, but was found abandoned at the intersection of state Route 410 and 241st Avenue Southeast.

ONE ARRESTED

• Police were told Dec. 23 a subject with outstanding arrest warrants was possibly at the home of family members in Buckley. An officer responded, arrested the subject and returned him to Enumclaw for booking.

Buckley

MINOR IN POSSESSION

• At 12:37 a.m. Jan. 1, an officer stopped a vehicle at the 29000 block of state Route 410. After a brief investigation, the officer determined the passenger was a minor in possession of alcohol. The underage girl was arrested and released to her father.

ASSAULT/DOMESTIC

• At 2:28 p.m. Jan. 2, a Buckley man was arrested for domestic violence assault and malicious mischief. Officers responded to a 911 hang-up call at Pearl Street and upon arrival they determined an assault and damage had occurred. The man was booked and held on bail.

INCOMPLETE 911 CALL

• At 10:40 p.m. Jan. 2, officers were dispatched to South Spruce Street for a reported domestic incident. Upon arrival officers contacted seven adults and found an intoxicated man had dialed 911 by mistake. A woman from Bonney Lake was found to have five outstanding arrest warrants out of Buckley. She was arrested and booked in jail.

INTOXICATED

• At 12:45 a.m. Jan. 3, a man was stopped for a traffic violation and found to be driving under the influence of alcohol and driving with a suspended license. He was arrested, issued a criminal citation and booked into jail.

DUI

• At 3:41 a.m. Jan. 3, officers were dispatched to SR 410 at the SR 165 extension for a reported intoxicated driver who had recently been arrested by a neighboring agency for a DUI. Officers located the suspect vehicle and initiated a traffic stop. A man from Enumclaw was taken into custody for driving under the influence of alcohol. The man was issued a criminal citation and booked into jail.
