THREATS

• At 4:30 p.m. Nov. 13 police responded to a report of domestic violence at a residence at Angeline Road. A 23-year-old victim said he was threatened by his 40-year-old brother-in-law. The 23-year-old said when his brother-in-law arrived at the house to drop off his niece and nephew, he threatened to kill him. The 23-year-old said he is in rehabilitation for drug abuse and said his brother-in-law learned of an incident in which he was arrested in front of the brother-in-law’s son.

HIT AND RUN

• At 6:07 p.m. Nov. 17 police responded to a report of a hit-and-run of an unattended motor vehicle at the parking lot of a business on state Route 410. Ann employee showed police a scratch on the driver’s-side front bumper of her vehicle and said she was told by a patron a green van hit her vehicle and left the scene. Another patron told the woman the phone number and identity of the suspect. The employee said she was familiar with the driver and had served him two alcoholic beverages. The suspect was contacted and stated he was unaware of hitting a vehicle. His vehicle showed damage consistent with the damage on the vehicle he allegedly hit. He was cited for hit-and-run and failure to provide proof of insurance.

• On Nov. 15 police responded to a hit and run on Angeline Road. Upon arrival police discovered a vehicle which crashed into a cedar tree. The car hit the tree head-on and the driver was not at the scene. It was discovered the vehicle hit a phone pole, breaking it in half, prior to hitting the tree. At 2:41 p.m. hours a man called 911 to say he drove the vehicle. The man was cited for hit-and-run and for driving a vehicle without an ignition interlock device, which is required but was not present in the vehicle.

DEATH INVESTIGATION

• At 10:23 p.m. Nov. 14 police were dispatched to a reported suicide. A 52-year-old man was found inside his running vehicle in a garage. East Pierce Fire and Rescue arrived at the scene and pronounced the man dead.

ASSAULT

• At 11:03 p.m. Nov. 15 police responded to an apartment on Myers Road regarding an assault. A 33-year-old man reported being assaulted by his ex-girlfriend and current roommate. Ann argument apparently arose regarding a vehicle registered to him being driven by one of his alleged assailants. He said a 26-year-old female attacked him with a baseball bat, hitting his head. The alleged attacker was booked into the Buckley jail, cited for assault in the fourth degree/domestic violence and issued a no-contact order.
