Bonney Lake police released a sketch of the suspect in the June 13 attempted luring on Angeline Road.

The following is from the department media release accompanying the sketch:

Last week, a 14 year old female reported an incident that occurred on the way to her bus stop in the 11000 block of Angeline Road East in Bonney Lake.

The female said that at approximately 6:35 a.m., she was walking down Angeline near Woodbriar Village from her bus stop to a friend’s bus stop. As she continued walking, a van passed her and turned around on two separate occasions.

The female started to feel afraid and walked faster towards her friend’s house. When she reached the corner of 110th & Angeline Rd E, the van pulled up right next to her — within 3-4 feet from where she stood.

The van is described as deep red in color with possibly tinted windows. The vehicle was in decent condition. The driver is described as a white male in his 40’s or 50’s, with blue or green eyes, heavy build, light facial hair and very pale complexion. The subject was wearing a gray hoodie style sweatshirt.
