Prairie Ridge Events and Activities:
Wed. 4/10 – COMMUNITY SAFETY NIGHT AND FREE DINNER at the Prairie Ridge Rec Hall beginning at 6 pm. “Breakfast for Dinner” sponsored by the Bonney Lake Nazarene Church. At 6:30, Safe Streets and Judy Holly from the Pierce County Sheriff’s Department will be there to address community
safety concerns and crime.
Wed. 4/17 – Free Soup Dinner sponsored by Foothills United Methodist Church. Family game time follows. Free at the Prairie Ridge Rec Hall
beginning at 6 pm.
Wed. 4/27 – Free Dinner sponsored by Communities In Schools of Orting and the Orting United Methodist Church. Meatball subs and chicken parm subs are on the menu! Family games, bingo, or crafts will follow. Free at
the Prairie Ridge Rec Hall beginning at 6 pm.
Wed. 5/1 – Free Dinner sponsored by Room At Our Table at 6 pm. Menu TBD. Family karaoke starts at 6:45.
WANTED: A group to sponsor a community dinner on Wednesday, May 29th at the Rec Hall. Assistance and some volunteers provided!!
NEW RESOURCE: Beyond the Borders is now offering a FREE transportation connector route in Bonney Lake and Sumner. The one hour service loop is available for older adults, people with disabilities, and low-income residents.
