There will not be a Prairie Ridge Community Coalition meeting in July. We will return to our regular second Monday meeting schedule on August. 13th at 11:30am at the Community Service Center.
Here is a schedule of our upcoming events:
- Mondays & Wednesday – Summer programs in the park for children & youth. 12:45 – 2:45pm every Monday and Wednesday at the Rec Hall Park. There is a different theme and activities each day. Free.
- Week of July 16th – VBS week in Prairie Ridge sponsored by Lake Tapps Christian Church 12:30 – 3:30pm M-F. Come register on Sunday July 15th at 6pm at the park – get a free t-shirt and make an ice cream Sunday. Free for Prairie Ridge Families.
- PLUS Games for Middle School & High School students at 4pm each day of the week July 16th – 20th at the park!
- Tues., July 17th – “The Hunger Games” youth game night 7pm at the Rec. Hall. Free
- Wed., July 18th – Free community dinner at 6:00pm (it’s fried chicken night!) followed by “Minute to Win It” Family Game Night from 6:30 to 8:00pm at the Prairie Ridge Rec. Hall.
- Fri., July 20th – Wii & electronic game night for youth at the Rec Hall 7pm. Free
- Sat., July 21st – Prairie Ridge Community Fun Day and Carnival from 12noon to 4pm. BBQ from 12 to 2, Inflatables, games, and music concert at 4pm.
- Tues., Aug. 7th – National Night Out – Luau in Prairie Ridge 5:30 – 7:30pm. Free – inflatables, face painting, games, hula, and more!
- Wed., Aug. 29th – School supply distribution. Please consider donating school supplies!! Last year we served 130 children with a mere $200. Contact Monica.
- Wed., Sept. 5th – Free dinner & game night returns to regular 1st Wednesday schedule. 6pm at the Rec. Hall. Games & bingo follows.
