PUNCHED A COP’S CAR: An off-duty King County sheriff called officers April 17 after a male subject punched their car and left the scene on a motorcycle. The off-duty sheriff told officers that two men on motorcycles flipped him and his wife off when they entered the parking lot. The off-duty officer pulled into a gas station when one of the males picked up a rock and looked like he was going to damage the off-duty officer’s car. The off-duty officer confronted the male and when he got back into his car, the male punched the car, denting it. The off-duty officer got a plate number of the motorcycle before the male left. Officers located the owner of the motorcycle online and issued a criminal citation.

STOLEN SIGNS: Officers were dispatched to a fast food restaurant April 20 to a report of three teens stealing the handicap signs. Officers arrived and talked to one of the males, who said his friends took one sign, but that it was already broken and hanging off the pole. The other sign they were alleged to have stolen had already been mission. Officers and the male found the taken sign and brought it back to the restaurant.
