Santa Claus is coming to town

East Pierce Fire and Rescue firefighters will accompany Santa during his annual visit to local neighborhoods in Bonney Lake, Sumner, Lake Tapps, Prairie Ridge, South Prairie, Wilkeson, Edgewood and Milton.

East Pierce Fire and Rescue firefighters will accompany Santa during his annual visit to local neighborhoods in Bonney Lake, Sumner, Lake Tapps, Prairie Ridge, South Prairie, Wilkeson, Edgewood and Milton.

Santa’s visit is sponsored by the International Association of Firefighters Local No. 3520 with assistance from the East Pierce Volunteer Firefighters’ Association. The firefighters, who volunteer their time for this event, will also be collecting donations for local food banks.

“This is such a fun event,” East Pierce Firefighter James Parke said. “It really puts us all in the Christmas spirit.”

Look for the fire engines in these neighborhoods between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m., unless otherwise noted. Route maps are available on the East Pierce Fire and Rescue website, at www.eastpiercefire.org.
