Secure your load | Washington State Patrol

As the weather continues to improve, more and more people will be working outside clearing debris and yard waste.  The Washington State Patrol would like to remind the public of how important it is to make sure your load is secured.

In the latest edition of our “Good to Know” series, Trooper Guy Gill offers tips and suggestions on how to properly secure a load before transport.

The sanction for failing to secure your load can range from a fine to a criminal arrest.  Take that few extra minutes before you leave to ensure whatever you may be hauling is secured.  This could be the difference between an uneventful trip to the landfill or injuring someone traveling behind you.
