Forest land owners will receive legal tips and learn to keep their property safe and secure through a WSU Extension Forestry seminar series on Thursday November 12th and Tuesday November 17th respectively. The classes will be held from 6:30 to 9 p.m. at Black Diamond Community Center, 31605 3rd Ave, Black Diamond, WA 98010.
Washington State University Extension and King County will host the two seminars led by experts in the fields of forest law and woodland safety and security. Spend the evening of Thursday the 12th with attorneys to discuss unique legal issues, such as timber trespass, creating a family LLC, access easements, and more. On Tuesday the 17th USFS Law Enforcement specialists will cover tips to reduce trespassing, dumping, vandalism, timber theft, and more!
Dinner will be provided at each seminar. Space is limited and pre-registration is required. You may attend one or both seminars in the series. Cost is $15 per person for each seminar.
