The Sumner School District will have special school start times for Wednesday, September 9, for middle and high school students only.

Sixth and ninth grade students will be picked up according to regular weekday bus schedule (not the Wednesday late start schedule) for a full school day schedule. School start time for students in grades 6 and 9 is at 7:25 a.m., on September 9. Students in grades 1-5 will start on the Wednesday late start schedule; there are no kindergarten classes. The first day of kindergarten is September 14.

All Elementary Schools

Wednesday late start time and school day schedule for students in grades 1-5, no kindergarten classes. The first day of school for kindergarten is September 14. Buses will operate on the Wednesday late start schedule. Breakfast and lunch will be served to students in all grades.

All Middle Schools

Seventh and eighth graders will begin school at 12:25 p.m., bus transportation will be five hours later than the regular weekday bus schedule (not the Wednesday late start schedule).*

School lunch will not be served to students in grades 7 and 8.

All High Schools

Ninth graders will be picked up according to regular weekday bus schedule (not the Wednesday late start schedule) for a full school day schedule. School start time is 7:25 a.m.

Students in grades 10-12 will begin school at 12:25 p.m., bus transportation will be five hours later than the regular weekday schedule (not the Wednesday late start schedule).* School lunch will not be served to students in grades 10-12.

All schools will have regular afternoon dismissal times and bus schedules.
