Offices observed a vehicle driving over 70 mph in a 35 mph zone on May 10. Officers eventually caught up to the vehicle and asked the driver for their license and registration. Officers noticed the smell of intoxicants coming from the car.

Speeding: Offices observed a vehicle driving over 70 mph in a 35 mph zone on May 10. Officers eventually caught up to the vehicle and asked the driver for their license and registration. Officers noticed the smell of intoxicants coming from the car. The driver was confused and could not provide proof on insurance for the vehicle. The driver was arrested for driving under the influence and the car was impounded by Cascade Towing.

Stolen jewelry: Officers contacted a mother in regard to a theft of some jewelry from her residence on May 11. The mother advised she was away for the weekend and her son had a camp out in the backyard. It was the son who noticed the missing jewelry during the morning after the camp out. Neither the son or the guests saw anyone take the jewelry, but the house was unlocked so guests has access to the indoor bathroom during the camp out.
