STABBED THE BED: On June 1 officers were called to a report of an assault with a knife. Dispatch advised the male involved was intoxicated and cut his hand before he fled the residence. After officers arrived at the residence, they learned the male had come home drunk and was already irritated when he grabbed the knife, cut his hand and stabbed the bed. The reporting party told officers the male’s probation officer was called because the male was not supposed to drink while on probation. No assault was observed, so officers left the scene after learning the male was most likely going to stay at a friend’s house out of town. Later in the night, officers pulled over the male for DUI and driving with a suspended license.

TRIP PERMIT VIOLATION: Officers pulled over a car June 2 due to registration having been expired for two years. The female driver was unable to provide her car registration or proof of insurance, but told officers she was just moving the car because it could no longer be parked where it was. Officers observed the trip permit in the window was not signed or dated. Officers issued a citation for the trip permit violation and a verbal warning for the rest and confiscated the trip permit.
