Officers attempted to pull over a motorcycle with a defective tail light on June 3, but the biker took off after officers activated their emergency lights. Officers were unable to keep up with the motorcycle after it pulled into a residential area, but officers soon found the bike parked at a residence with a key still in the ignition.

VEHICLE RECOVERY: Officers were called June 3 to recover a stolen vehicle. A suspicious car was noticed in a parking lot and a plate check revealed the car was stolen out of Auburn. The car appeared driveable with both plates attached, but the stereo was missing. The vehicle was towed and arrangements were made to have the owner pick it up.

Officers ran the plate to get information about the owner, but the plate came back stolen. The owner of the home where the motorcycle was parked said he had never seen the bike before. Cascade Towing impounded the bike.
