Sumner Tractor merges into new tractor company

Sumner Tractor has merged with North Washington Implement and Liberty Farm and Lawn to form Washington Tractor.

Together the companies have a 154-year history and by joining together have created the largest John Deere organization serving Washington state.

Washington Tractor will have seven locations operating in Aberdeen, Chehalis, Ellensburg, Lynden, Olympia, Quincy and Sumner, employing more than 150 people.

According to a company press release, customers can expect to see the same experienced employees and maintain the relationships that have been developed through the years. The merger will provide an exciting opportunity to bring enhanced product selection at competitive prices, while still maintaining superior customer service and support for John Deere and related products.

Washington Tractor will honor all warranty and service contracts that were established prior to the merger.
